We don’t charge for our events, and we’re not a nonprofit organization. Everything we do is supported entirely by personal investment and voluntary contributions from people who believe in what we do.
Why Support Matters
Public outreach takes more than just telescopes. Your support helps us maintain equipment, travel to events, and create welcoming experiences for people of all ages.
How Donations Are Used
- Telescope maintenance and repairs
- Mirror recoating for large telescopes (often several thousand dollars)
- Replacement tarps, canopies, and telescope covers
- Solar panels and battery systems for remote events
- Transportation and fuel costs
- New equipment purchases
- Educational materials and handouts
Donations are never used to pay salaries or compensate members. All funds go directly toward outreach and equipment.
