Eastern Sierra Observatory Star Parties
The Telescope Guys are proud to support select star party events hosted by the Eastern Sierra Observatory.
These multi-night observing experiences take place on a private 80-acre property in Panamint Valley, California — one of the darkest and most spectacular observing locations in the region.

About These Events
These events are organized and hosted by the Eastern Sierra Observatory. We are invited to bring telescopes and assist with observing and education, but registration, pricing, and logistics are handled entirely by the host.
If you see one of these events listed on our calendar, details and ticketing information will always direct you to their website.

The site offers vast desert views, exceptional dark skies, and easy access to nearby destinations such as Death Valley, Trona Pinnacles, Darwin Falls, and countless canyon hikes.
- Campfires are allowed if kept small and respectful of dark skies
- Friendly dogs are welcome
- Clean porta-potties are provided
- Please use red lights after dark
- Quiet generators are allowed during the day only
- The final access road is a maintained dirt road suitable for all vehicles
